Hey Guys,
My name is Kimberly. I have a four-year-old lab named Duke who appears in a lot of my Instagram videos! He is the sweetest! I started this website/blog to share positive, encouraging messages drawn from my own personal experiences being on the spiritual path. I am in the process of writing a book called A Labyrinth Home, hence the title of the blog. The past 15 years or so of my life I have been seeking “home,” like a sense of belonging somewhere, but also a feeling of peace within. Home to me is a place where you feel settled and can become who you are meant to be, but also it’s a state of peace within that can be attained through a lot of work – inner work that is! Dag Hammarskjöld, former Secretary General of the United Nations, once said, “the longest journey is the journey inward.” Such true and wise words. Once you are on the path, there is no turning back! Or in other words, once you start to look at things from the inside – out, or in such a way as to recognize that this experience, this person, this job, is teaching me something about myself so I can grow spiritually – you can never undo that approach to living. That’s great news! You won’t want to go back, believe me. It’s challenging, but it’s the whole purpose of being here. I hope you can get something out of my writing, maybe a feeling like everything will be okay or maybe a helpful tool to let you see things in a new way, or maybe just comfort and ease. Whatever it may be, I appreciate you giving me a chance to share some insight and bless you, even in a small way.
