There comes a time in everyone’s life when we reach a kind of junction point – what used to serve us no longer does and we feel like we need a change. This place of “in between” or “no longer and not yet” may feel frustrating, especially when we don’t have the clarity that we need to take some sort of step forward in a new direction. There’s a Lao Tzu quote, “do you have the patience to wait until the mud settles and the water clears to take the right action?” This is applicable here. Sometimes what we need to do (even reluctantly) is to simply wait – wait for the right course of action to make itself crystal clear. This waiting game can be grueling and can feel indefinite, but at some point, that mud will settle and you will be able to see clearly what you need to do to create the next chapter of your life. And, in doing so, you may need to get rid of the “old” and embrace the “new.”
You got this!
Peace.
